Pizza Slice

Inspiration comes from our modern relationships and the culture of convenience. My works explore the idea of objects and what their purposes are.

The work is a visual conundrum, it is, but it isn't. It's flat, yet three-dimensional. Sculptural yet painted. Implicit yet totally innocent. They draw on objects and their purpose. For example a gloryhole as an outdated artifact from LGBT history. My works play with the idea of shame and anonymity online, real world vs online.

These artifacts are strategically disguised as food objects and explore the juxtaposition between dating apps and convenience of fast food deliveries.
