Julia Pomeroy

‘Ever Changing Light’ depicts a slumped, sleepy man on top of stacked double airbeds, blown up in his lounge. Produced from a photo, this painting stemmed from collected imagery from the 2020 lockdowns.

Julia Pomeroy (b.1998) is an oil painter from London and has been based in Leeds for the last six years and currently is a studio holder at Assembly House, Armley. In 2017, Pomeroy completed her foundation year at City and Guilds Art School, London, graduated from her BFA at Leeds Arts University with a 1st in 2020, and she is returning to City and Guilds to complete a Fine Art MA this Autumn.
