Anna Ketskemety

A portrait of my friend derived from a spontaneous personal photograph, the painting attempts to capture something of her defiant, serious yet playful attitude - the daffodil in her lapel at odds with the season. The painting alludes to aging, set at twilight, the path to a light at the end suggests life's ,and our, journey as friends through time. it also hints at the history and mystery of the park itself which is both my and her my local park.
