AIR Gallery was proud to present the AIR Open 2017; our first open exhibition showcasing multidisciplinary artists working in the field of contemporary art. This eclectic show featured 40 diverse artworks that had been carefully selected by our panel from the hundreds of applications we received from artists across the globe. 

The exhibition launched on the 10th August with an evening event from 6pm. Visitors were encouraged to vote for their favourite work as part of the People's Choice Award. All the awards were  announced during our Closing Ceremony at the end of September with £600 of prizes won, sponsored by Jacksons, GreatArt and HobbyCraft.

AIR Award: Omid Asadi

People's Choice: Rowan Eastwood

Highly Commended Included: Helena Denholm, Rebecca Ainsworth, Calum Stevens, Katie Mcguire and Katherine Sullivan.
