Tomas Cobbett

"Look-see Through the Zipper" uses a combination of stop motion animation and video performance to explore the liminal space behind the zipper. Using denim as the predominant medium, brought to life through costume and puppetry; the viewer is welcomed through the zipper into a world of nostalgic potential.

Artist Bio

Tomas is an interdisciplinary artist who focuses on exploring facets of identity displaced through performance and sculpture. Drawing on queer memory, they create a fictionally sentimental stage in which to perform.
